Friends! We’ll see you for the Brooklyn debut of the Brooklyn Banshees!

Ann, Ursula and Chris have played traditional music for many years with various groups and this will be their second time playing for contra dancing together as The Banshees! We like to play a lot of Irish jigs and reels and we're really enjoying providing music for Contra Dancing. Ann and Ursula are very steeped in the Irish tradition. Chris also plays Irish music along with many other styles and has played for Contra Dancing in a number of bands. Chris has also led a Contra Tune Slow Jam at NEFFA for many years.

  • You have come in contact with anyone in the 2 weeks prior to the dance who is suspected to have covid-19

• Cost of entry

  • Free for sustaining members and volunteers, $9 for supporter members and students, $15 for non-members. Kids under 12 are free!
