We’ll see you for our first dance in August (in our hall with fans and AC!) for live music from Riverside and calling from Harris Lapiroff.
Riverside is NYC’s newest contra-band brings together three long time contra musicians for high energy Irish, Scotish, and bluegrass tunes to keep the dance floor moving. The trio, composed of Paul Morris (guitar), Sean Rosenberry (fiddle, tenor guitar) and Rachel Givner (clarinet), hails from a variety of musical backgrounds, and the resulting combination of styles brings out a creative, playful approach to their music making.
Harris Lapiroff is a caller hailing from Somerville MA. He strives for an efficient, friendly calling style that gets dancers moving as quickly as possible and then gets out of the way.
